As rumors of Israel grow towards it's attack against Iran, can all of this be leading towards "The Seven Year Tribulation"? The answer to that is really quite simple, "You bet ya!"
Every time I make such a statement I see dozens upon dozens of those little horns popping out of heads all over the internet but please hold on one minute!
How often we hear someone quote Matthew 24:36 which states "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only" but how often do you ever hear the verse that comes just 3 verses prior? Matthew 24:33 "So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors."

Although the first half of these 7 years are actually quite mellow compared to the second 3 1/2 year period, I refer to the entire 7 year period as the tribulation. There are many opinions as to when this period will take place. Some even believe it has already been fulfilled but thank God for His Word so we can study and see for ourselves when this time will come.
A study of the seventy weeks of Daniel from Chapter 9:24-27 is too lengthy to get into here, but one that if you do not already know it, you will need to dig into to understand the timing of what is mentioned in Daniel Chapter 12. In the very first verse of Chapter 12 it mentions "A Time of Trouble" but it goes on to say "Such as Never was Since there was a Nation, even to that same time."
I do understand that things were pretty bad in 70 AD when Israel was trampled by Rome and it's mercenaries but be sure that does not even begin to compare to what the bible tells us will come as we approach the Second Coming of the LORD Himself!
Verse 2 of this same Chapter tells us also that at this time many that sleep in the dust shall awake. It is very simple to see from the Word of God when this event will take place.
Revelation 20:4-5
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had recieved his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands: and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
It is quite obvious if you carefully look at these two verses that this resurrection comes after the time of the mark that will be enforced by the anti christ. It amazes me how God has carefully put EVERY clue we need into His Word for those who truly want to know "TRUTH"!
