Praise the LORD!
Well I feel safe to say "It won't be long now!" and praise the LORD for that!
Matthew 24:34
Verily, I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
As the Fig Tree continues to bring forth it's leaves we should recognize it's signs of the times like never before! The Fig Tree in the bible represents the State of Israel. It is important to know that the state of Israel did not exist for almost 1900 years after it was destroyed by Rome and it's mercenaries in 70AD. The most incredible thing about Israel coming back into existance in 1948 is the fact that the bible said that it would be on the scene as we approach World War 3.
Joel 3:2
I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat,
and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel,
whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted My land
This amazing verse from Joel was written about 2800 years ago and about 800 years before Israel seized to exist. I can only imagine how people that knew their bible felt when Israel did not exist knowing that their bible said it must be in existance in the last days. The big question here is, How long is a generation? The bible is clear that the Fig Tree Generation will be the final generation before the return of Christ!
Some interesting things have taken place in this generation. Since Israel became a state again in 1948, the list goes on and on as to the incredible events that are taking place during this Fig Tree generation! As far as the church in this generation there has been a drastic change to it's system here in the Fig Tree Generation. In 1955 we have the beginning of state churches here in the U.S.A. It was at that time that churches went into what is known as 501c status and is now known as 501c3 status. Before that time they had all the same benfits that they have now without the lenghty paperwork!
Also in 1967, (20 years after Israel became a state), it took back it's capital of Jerusalem in what is known as the Six Day War. Personally I think it is extremely prophetic that they faught for six days and on the seventh day they took back Jerusalem which shadow Gods' plan of creation all the way back to the Book of Genesis! Remember, in six days God created everything and on the seventh day He rested.
Also here in the Fig Tree Generation we have had computers and other technology that is needed to fulfill the mark of the beast which is a mark that each individual will have to have in order to buy or sell.
Revelation 13:16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,
to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
The use of computers has also aided in forming the New World Order that is about to fall in place to fulfill the one world government that the bible spoke of that would be in place just before the Return of Christ. It is incredible how people are running around like madness in this generation as mentioned by the Prophet Daniel.
Daniel 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
As I grew up I had heard about this mark of the beast and it actually seemed impossible that the technology could ever be available in my lifetime for such a mark. How much harder must it have been for the Apostle John to write about such a mark almost 2000 years ago and then to pin it to the very time of the Fig Tree Generation for it to fall in place! Never the less here it is and right on time if I must say so!
I can already hear a few quoting that verse "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only" (Matthew 24:36)." As they quote that verse they fail to recall what Jesus had just mentioned a few verses earlier!
Matthew 24:32-33
Now learn the parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves,
ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the doors.
We may not know the very day nor hour BUT be sure we are to know the season of His Coming!
My friends, you are in the Fig Tree Generation and be sure that it is near and even at the doors!
