Praise God!
Well, as South America comes close to moving into summer we are surely getting close to winter here in the USA. I pray all is well with everyone, wherever, you may be at this present time! I have never had so many people ask me what I thought about an elected president as I have had them ask me after the election we just had. Honestly, it's not a subject I care to get into but I can tell you the same thing I have told all of them, "I can see that you have NOT read my book!"
I will have to give President Obama some real credit for one thing that I just read on Sunday 11/18/2012 from Today News. It reads likes this;
"Meanwhile, President Barack Obama said he fully supported Israel's right to defend itself and called for an end to the firing of missiles into Israel by militants inside Gaza in order for a peace process to go ahead."
Praise God for that surprising statement! Peace Peace! Who doesn't know we sure could use that in this world! Not sure how you do that without JESUS, but, none the less it sure sounds good! Now if we can just get a few changes on his view for gay marriage and abortion we might be able to go somewhere, because that's the only way this country will have God's favor!
The bible instructs us to pray for our leaders, so let's keep the President in prayer, because if he's there, it's because God wants him there.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
You have to remember, when God gave us His Word, He gave us what He had already seen happen. There are many Profits today trying to change what God saw, BUT be sure, what God gave us will come to pass.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.
What did God say about December 21, 2012?
That one is quite easy! "NOTHING!, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!" and if you don't believe that, PLEASE, send me an email on December 22, 2012 and I will explain in more detail why I said that.
As end time talk begins to get a little more confusing each and every day the closer we get to it, how do we know who to believe or is it even possible for anyone to really know what time it is?, as the old song goes!
1st Corinthians 14:33 For God is NOT the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Time and time again we hear that often quoted verse from Matthew 24,
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
Now I have to admit, that verse is very clear, but at the same time, we often ignore what was said by the same Prophet just three verses earlier.
Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Many months ago I did a letter about what Simon saw in Acts Chapter 8, but now, let's look at what Daniel saw in Daniel Chapter 7. Please keep in mind that The Book of Daniel is like a commentary for the Book of Revelation!
Daniel 7:28 Hitherto (Here) is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations (thoughts) much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
You have to understand that what Daniel is referring to here is the vision he had just had of the four beasts and the role that the fourth beast will play in end time events. Daniel also mentioned the persecution of the saints by the anti christ himself just before the Return of Christ when the Kingdom was then given into the hands of His People.
Daniel 7:25 And he (anti christ) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws; and they (saints) shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (3 1/2 years which is the second half of the 7 year Great Tribulation)
Time = 1 year Times = 2 years Dividing of time = 1/2 year For a total of 3 1/2 years
(this alsconnects to the 42 months or 1,260 days mentioned in Revelation 12)
God informed His People on the terrible times that would come to pass, just before the day of His Return to keep His People from being a big part of the Great Falling Away mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
The Great Falling Away will be a time when many that once stood in the faith will begin to deny their faith due to the persecution against Christians during the Great Tribulation. We know there has been persecution against Christians in the past, but, we were told in Matthew 24 that the persecution to come just before the Second Coming would exceed any persecution that there has ever been! BUT on the bright side, it also tells us it will be the LAST time they are ever persecuted!
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Although most Profits these days will try to tell you, you won't be here anyway, let's look closer at what God really said to His People about the matter!
First, I think it is important to define the word "tribulation" and how this is related to God's wrath (anger and judgment). There are two Greek words most often used to describe tribulation events, and in many instances, they are used together in the same verse. The first word is diwgmos (Strong's #G1375), which occurs 10 times in the New Testament and is translated "persecution(s)" in all major English translations. This word always refers to the persecution of believers by non-believers.
The second word is thlipsis (Strong's #G2347), which occurs 45 times in the New Testament and is translated "tribulation(s)," "affliction(s)," "anguish," "distress," "persecution," or "trouble." In 42 of these 45 occurrences, the word refers to the suffering, believers, received at the hands of non-believers.
One of the other 3 refer to the sufferings of Joseph when he was sold into slavery at the hands of his brothers, another to the sufferings of people during the famine of that time, and only one refers to the suffering of those who commit evil. On this basis alone, one would seem to be on shaky ground in assuming that the tribulation is reserved only for non-believers (since it only refers to non-believers in only 2% of all verses).
In contrast, two different Greek words are used to describe the suffering of non-believers at the hand of God. The first word is thumos (Strong's #G2372), which occurs in 18 verses in the New Testament and is translated "angry tempers," "fierce," "indignation," outbursts of anger," "passion," "rage," and "wrath." In nine of those 18 verses, the term specifically refers to the anger and judgment of God against the unrighteous (the other 9 refer to the anger of people against each other).
The second word is orgay (Strong's #G3709), which occurs in 34 verses in the New Testament and is translated "anger" or "wrath." Twenty-eight of those verses refer to the wrath of God (or Jesus) against the unrighteous, one refers to the persecution of believers, and five refer to anger of people against each other.
Therefore, whereas tribulation almost always refers to the persecution of believers, wrath almost always refers to the anger of God against the unrighteous that results in punishment.
All this that God gave us is to encourage us to continue on even in the toughest of times. Many that fell for false doctrine will feel abandoned by God because they are still here during that difficult time and become a part of the great falling away. Each one of us is responsible to study and check what we hear with God's Word at all times.
Well, I try to keep these letters short, but, as you can see I have not been able to do it once again. I will cut this here as I understand better, letter after letter, why the LORD led me to put this all together in an easy to read book! If you have not read "The Ten Minute Tribulation" you really ought to do so, especially while it is still on sale at Amazon.com!
It's not about the book! It's about God's people being prepared for the Great Tribulation AND His Second Coming!
Have a great day!
and be SURE to tell someone on the job or wherever you may be about JESUS!
